Casa Piva, is the work and home of architect Andrew Piva, a Director of B.E. Architecture. Discreetly nestled down a laneway in one of Melbourne’s leafy suburbs, this family home is simultaneously warm and inviting. With his family’s Italian roots in mind Andrew has created a structured journey as you progress into, through and beyond.

Fisherman’s House was a late 18th Century colonial cottage sitting nine metres below street level, bereft on the banks of the Parramatta River, Sydney. Eva-Marie at Studio Prineas architects rose to the challenge of connecting the house with the street, creating a family home for four by repurposing the cottage and opening it out to an oversized deck.
